The Work Sharp Precision Adjust is a great system. However, it has a few flaws. One of them being the clamp arm having a small amount of flex when sharpening. This flex will change your sharpening angle by a minor degree, possibly causing inconsistent results.
NEW design. This brace is designed to be easier to use compared to the original adjustable brace. Comes as a single non-adjustable piece. It can be inserted from either side, underneath the plastic arm. Can also be flipped and inserted under the metal clamp.
This brace is compatible with all of the accessories I make.
Original, adjustable style will still be available. The brace is adjustable to increase or decrease the amount of pressure pushing back against the arm.
The brace is FDM 3D printed from PETG. Sourced from Atomic Filament. Some of the best USA made filament.
